Rycombe has been trading in its current form since July 1998. It has been operating as a software
development consultancy successfully over that time, carrying out bespoke developments
for a number of large companies.
In January 2001 we decided to apply the techniques and technologies that we had been using in these
endeavours to develop and sell software products off the shelf. Rycombe Practice Management
is our first such product, and was released in August 2001.
We believe that our customers can only benefit by choosing our off the shelf products, such as Rycombe
Practice Management. We maintain the same exceptionally high levels of customer service and continue to
produce high quality products that satisfy the individual needs of our customers. However, as we are now
selling to a mass market, we are able to pass on significant cost savings over what we have to charge for
tailor made products.
In addition, as we are constantly striving to improve our products, we are more than willing to consider
customer requests for product enhancements. If we feel these will add to the overall product, we will include
them. Thus, if you have licence to use a particular product that provides free upgrades and we include your
enhancement, you are effectively getting a fully maintained bespoke product that evolves in the way that you
want it to for the price of off the shelf software.
